TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CLINIC
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS!
After much consideration and turmoil the decision has been made to temporarily close Beaches Chiropractic due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The safety of patients and staff always has and always will be paramount and it is for this reason we have arrived at the decision to temporarily close.
Over the last few weeks we have taken extreme precautions to reduce the risk of passing the virus; However, we cannot escape the fact that the situation is worsening and we are all being encouraged to play our part by social distancing and self isolation.
You will still be able to contact us for advice via telephone, email and Facebook direct message.
Look out for updates and for exciting online content that is being created.
Thank you for you suppler and encouragement and we will see you on the other side.
Stay safe, Stay home.
If you have any further concerns regarding the coronavirus please refer to the following website, as recommended by the government:
You should also stay at home and self isolate for 7 days if you have either:
a high temperature
a new continuous cough
Shortness of breath
DO NOT GO TO A GP SURGERY, PHARMACY OR HOSPITAL.
If you think you have symptoms, please use the 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do next. We are fortunate that in Port Talbot the NHS has set up a drive through testing service, however this can only be accessed by appointment only. YOU WILL NOT BE TESTED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT.
If you are required to self isolate, please look at the following NHS website for tips on how to effectively self isolate:
How Can You Avoid Catching the Coronavirus?
wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
always wash your hands when you get home or into work
use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
From all of us at Beaches Chiropractic we'd like to wish you and your families the best of health in the coming weeks and months. We will continue to provide you with up to date information as this is an ever changing situation.
