Daniel Graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales in July 2014 and immediately started work at Beaches Chiropractic. Daniel has a keen interest in research and sport. He has played football at a semi-professional level for Port Talbot Town FC and during his final year in university used the club as a starting point for his research. Since then, Daniel has been fortunate enough to carry out research and work alongside a number of Premier League clubs and has worked with Pro 14 side Southern Kings.

 

To further improve his knowledge of Sporting Injuries, Daniel has completed a number of courses based on the treatment and assessment of sports injuries. Daniel is a qualified Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP) awarded by FICS. This qualification allows chiropractors to treat at a number of events across the world. Daniel currently works with Welsh Rugby Region Scarlets Rugby on a session by session basis, providing both advice and diagnostic services to the staff and players of the club.

Daniel has also completed a MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine at Cardiff Metropolitan University and is a fully registered and qualified Sonographer having completed a PgCert in MSK Ultrasound and AECC University College, Bournemouth and a PGDip at Essex University. 

Daniel was the proud recipient of the prestigious Royal College of Chiropractors Graham Heale Memorial Award 2015 for Outstanding PRT Candidate of The Year as well as BCA Chiropractic Associate of the Year 2018. Daniel has recently been appointed the Director of Academic Affairs for the Sports Faculty of the Royal College of Chiropractors.
